Lead with the job to be done
An expert role alone does not define the assignment. Ask for an action with a purpose: separate progress from blockers so a team lead can set priorities. Add a role only if it contributes a relevant perspective. This gives you a concrete way to judge whether the answer did the work you needed.
Separate instructions from reference material
Put the requirements first and label the material that follows. Give individual documents names when you provide more than one, so the answer can point back to its evidence. Ask the model to treat instructions found inside quoted material as content to analyze, rather than new commands to execute.
Make revisions specific
If a draft is too long, request three decisions and the unresolved questions rather than just asking for a shorter answer. If it misstates a fact, identify the sentence and the matching source passage. Check important figures, quotations and deadlines against the original material before sharing the result.
